An informal competition at Marina Ibiza

With the intention of creating a fun regatta without formalities, Spike Thompson organized the Ibiza Rendezvous, a competition that aims to bring back the fun to the race course with the best Ibiza style.

From 8th to 11th October several boats will visit Marina Ibiza to participate in the final race of the summer. It will also be the superyacht season finale race, where sailboats over 50 feet are expected to compete in their own categories. The competition is open to any type of boat and there are already 8 registered. Motorboats have also been invited and they’ll compete in a different way.

During 4 intensive days participants will race around the island. Moreover, as on land, you can enjoy the view and the good company and the environment of the race from the privileged restaurant terrace Calma, at Marina Ibiza. And as a finale, the race will offer a big party to celebrate the end of season that will join the famous summer ending parties of the island.
